There he will have the opportunity to speak with Practicing Physicians and Hospital Department Chairs about Medical Malpractice in general and about the pitfalls of Electronic Medical Records, In addition, his lecture will focus on doctors’ failure to properly inform their patients of the risks, benefits and alternatives of the proposed treatment, communication errors and recurrent departures from accepted standards of medical care. The goal of the talk is to allow for better patient care.

New York Personal Injury Lawyer Ben RubinowitzOur managing partner, NYC personal injury attorney Ben Rubinowitz will be directing the “NITA Drills: A Witness Examination Boot Camp” from April 29 to May 1st 2019.  This program will take place at The National Institute for Trial Advocacy Education Center in Boulder, Colorado.

The Witness Examination Boot Camp is a rapid-fire, three-day program that focuses on direct and cross-examination of witnesses, including impeachment and expert witness variations, as well as methods for delivering killer openings and summations. New York Medical Malpractice Lawyer Ben RubinowitzOur managing partner, NYC Personal Injury Attorney Ben Rubinowitz will be speaking at the Long Island Medical Malpractice Litigation 2019 Seminar organized by the New York State Bar Association. The seminar will take place on Wednesday February 27th at the Melville Marriott located at 1350 Walt Whitman Road in Melville. Ben will be speaking on openings and summations.

Organized by WJ Weiser and Associates, Inc, the Forum will take place at Steamboat Grand from January 19th to January 22nd.

This meeting will summarize for practicing urologists and other interested professionals, new concepts in diagnosis and treatment for conditions including local and advanced prostate, renal and bladder cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms, incontinence, urinary tract infection, reconstructive urology, andrology, stone disease and medical malpractice. At the completion of the meeting, urologists will have been exposed to methods to optimize patient care and maintain patient centricity of care delivery.

Ben will moderate the session “Cases of Urologic Complications and Implications”. This session will focus on Medical Malpractice with trial demonstrations including witness examination, opening statements and summation of cases related to prostate cancer, urothelial cancer, female urology, stones, renal cancer and male AUS.

He recently obtained a $3 million verdict in an extremely difficult medical malpractice case alleging a failure to diagnose pancreatic cancer.  He has been involved in resolving multiple 7 figure cases during the short time he has been with the firm. Among them he was co-counsel with Ben Rubinowitz in a case involving injuries to a construction worker which resulted in a $6.25 million verdict. He also settled a case for $5.85 million for a construction worker who suffered a spinal injury.  Chris has also lectured at numerous seminars in the field of personal injury litigation.

All crosses must start at the end—with what attorney intends to prove. Once the attorney knows what she intends to prove, she can use different techniques such as changing the tone of her voice, focusing the question for the witness, asking low risk open ended questions and making statements with a question at the end.
