Among this year’s outstanding achievements, our partner Howard Hershenhorn was named Lawyer of the Year 2020 for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs in New York City by Best Lawyers. Howard and Diana Carnemolla obtained a $85 million verdict for a pedestrian who was hit by a bus. This verdict was the highest jury verdict in New York State in 2018. Our managing partner, Ben Rubinowitz, was named a Top 10 Lawyer in NYC by Super Lawyers.  Earlier this year, Ben Rubinowitz and Richard Steigman obtained a record setting $59 million verdict for a 16 year old student who suffered devastating burns in a botched chemistry experiment. Also a few months ago, Governor Cuomo signed the New York Child Victim Act into law and our dedicated sexual abuse attorneys have been very active in helping NYC child victims of sexual abuse. Recently, Ben Rubinowitz and Peter  Saghir obtained a historic $27.5 million church sex abuse settlement.
